It Starts

Alright, after reading the REI blogs of several individuals from the RichDad.com forums I decided to start my own. If everything goes according to plan, this blog will relate my journey from damn near pennyless and unemployed to financial independance.

I recently graduated from college with a degree in Electrical Engineering. I've been trying for the past few months to get an engineering job in Austin to no avail. I actually had a job offer but the company, which will remain unnamed, wanted me to start 11 days before my graduation date. When it became clear that I would not be able to start working before I actually had my degree, rather than push the start date back they rescinded the offer. Since then, I haven't been able to get another offer from anyone else. Just bad luck I guess. So now here I am, sick of being in limbo and ready to take action. Stay tuned.
