Facebook Ads?

My new product has sold 2 copies since it went on sale. I'm not in the profit yet but I am optimizing the campaigns to get more bang for the buck. I'm also considering Facebook Ads and seeing how that will go. It will definitely be cheaper than Yahoo!

I'm also working on a new long term project that was inspired by someone in a forum I go to. When I complete the first and second phase of the project, I will have no problem quitting my job. Yeah, I've said this before but this time it is different. The way this project will work has nothing to do with how many products I sell. I actually think it is a business plan that is better suited to me than others I've tried. The first 6 sites related to this project are up but still need some work to finalize them.

A Little Bit Accomplished

Today I was able to set up a sale for my first product and also get a broadcast set up for my second major market. I also set one of my VAs up on doing some backlinking to some of my articles in the second market. I did not get as far as I would have liked in terms of retooling the 2nd market newsletter for my new product. I will have to make some more videos for it tomorrow because I just didn't get to it tonight.

So far Yahoo has not been delivering the results I would like. Granted I only had the campaign running for 2 days=) but I was hoping for more optins. Right now it is running at a 10% optin rate. I will give it more time and use Google Website Optimizer to get the conversion rates higher.

Product is Finished!!

YES!

Fin! I finally have a product in a brand new market! Everything has been screaming for me to do PPC straight to the landing page, but I need to be good. List building is more important... We will see how long my will power lasts.

In terms of list building, I have to redo my entire autoresponder sequence to refocus it to my product rather than the product I was promoting as an affiliate. That will be the major undertaking for tomorrow. Also, this weekend I will make a video salesletter for the product and make a new split test for my first product. Going to a video salesletter type format for the first product brought the conversion rate up to 1.27% from the sub 0.8% range. I'd love to get the salesletter up to 3+% for the first product.

For the new product, I'm hoping to have a decent conversion rate right out of the gate. At the recommendation of a successful internet marketer I met last month, I read Dan Kennedy's "The Ultimate Salesletter". It's a good book and I used it to help me with the salesletter for the new product.

New Product is Almost Ready

Hey, I know, it's been over a month=(

In June, I decided to start doing PPC again. As far as traffic goes, it is the thing I do the best so I got back into the game with my main product. Things have been going well with it so far.

My 3rd product in a new market (the 2nd one has me scared of the FTC so I'm not actively promoting it right now) is almost finished. I just need to do the cover pages for the actual product and finish up on the sales system (salesletter, thank you page, etc.) I KNOW this market can get into the $100+/day range, especially with me being the vendor. There is plenty of traffic, unlike my first market, and I know this market is willing to make purchases.

Once the new product is finished, I'm going to be getting back into the CPA style game except with a twist. Rather than working through a network, I will be working to develop relationships directly with vendors. This should be interesting.

My job sucks more than ever. It is at the point where I may have to get a new job if I'm not able to hit my Business Goals fast enough. We will see.


As I look around, I've noticed that it looks like I'm the last of a dying breed. Almost all of the people I met when I first started in this business 5 years ago are gone. Jean-Rene was the last of them and he has been MIA since February. I'm still at it though - I know the rewards are going to be worth it.
