Journey to $300/Day - Massive Action

Over the last 2 days I've launched 18 campaigns. Most of them fizzled but there were a couple winners to work with and optimize. In fact, one CPA offer that I would never have normally tested actually made a conversion and had an unbelievable amount of traffic to go with it. I look forward to getting the most I can out of that offer.

The other day I was listening to something Ed Dale said. He said that it is good to have goals but that too often, people become fixated on the end result. In doing so, they easily get distracted and discouraged when they do not reach their goal immediately. Instead, he suggested that you focus on the process of how to reach the goal. After listening to what he had to say (and I think it's good advice), I decided to go on this campaign launching blitz.

Massive action = massive results

I'm going to focus on the process of launching and optimizing campaigns; focus on taking the "massive action" everyone talks about instead of focusing on the end goal. The end goal will come as long as I work the process.

Journey to $300/Day - Fail?

Happy New Year! It's 2011 already!

The deadline to meet my $300/day goal has passed and I have not achieved it. There were many reasons why it didn't happen (server getting hacked, sickness, Holidays, laziness). Even so, I don't consider it to be a complete failure.

1. I learned about tho *finally* drive tons of traffic!
2. I've *finally* started to focus on building lists in large markets!
3. I've *finally* bought a virtual private server (VPS) and have started to shift my sites over to it from my bad host.
4. I've *finally* found a solution that will track both opt-ins & the profitability of my email sequence.
5. I've started the first steps toward getting my duplex ready to either sell or rent out both sides (I currently live in one side)
6. After a huge break from the job, I have NO desire to go back!

So, what am I going to do?

Well, I do have to go back - at least temporarily. As far as reaching my goal - I'm going to give myself until March 31. That should be plenty of time given what I can do now with traffic and staying focused on building lists.

I'm not one who is big on "New Year's Resolutions". I think that if you need to make a change, waiting until the new year to do so is stupid. However, we are here at the New Year, so here we go.

1. Get into Shape - Back toward the end of '08, I was so close to going full time that I stopped going to the gym so that I could focus on making things happen. My reliance on Google put a stop to my plan in '09. However, I haven't been back to the gym since - and it shows.

I asked for and received 2-35 lbs kettlebells for Christmas. I will workout with them 3 times per week to get back into fighting trim.

Start: Once I'm over this cold.
Deadline: I will be able to conduct the "kettlebell snatch" properly by February 15.

2. Go Full Time with the Business - I literally have everything I need as far as tools and skills go. I just need to stay focused and make it happen.

I'll focus on big, desperate markets and build lists like there's no tomorrow. I will also start to network with some of the bigger merchants in those markets so that I can participate in the big non-IM launches. I'm looking forward to it!

Start: Today
Deadline: $300/Day Profit by March 31.

3. Move to Florida - My girlfriend is in law school there and I want to move to be closer to her.

Deadline: $300/Day Profit by April 30.

4. Spend More Time with Family - 'Nuff said.

5. Explode My Income - Once I go full time, I going to take some major steps toward hitting crazy income levels. I already have a few plans but they require capital and time - both are currently in low supply for me at the current moment.

What are your resolutions?
